About the Attorney
In practice since 1974, Attorney Drucas graduated from Northeastern University in 1969 with a degree in Economics and Suffolk University Law School in 1973. He started his practice in Salem and has maintained an office there since 1974. He specializes in corporate and business law for new entrepreneurs as well as second and third generations of family businesses.
Mr. Drucas has worked with real estate developers and individuals before Zoning and Planning Boards in Swampscott, Marblehead, and Salem as well as other permit granting Municipal Boards in the Greater North Shore area.
In addition to providing estate planning and estate administration services to his clients, Mr. Drucas knows that business transactions can make or break their enterprise. A bad loan agreement, stolen proprietary information or an expensive employee separation matter can take down an entire business. Attorney Drucas is successful in handling all these issues.
Attorney Drucas has served on the following nonprofit boards: Salem YMCA, Salem Red Cross, as Chairman of the Board for Project Cope, as Chairman of the Board for Friends of Project Cope, HealthNet, as well as several others. He was an active elected Town Meeting Member, and Selectmen in the town of Swampscott and as well as serving on the Finance Committee, the First Town Administrator Search Committee, By-law Committee, and several other committees in Swampscott. He has also served on the Grounds Committee, has chaired the Golf Committee, served on the Finance Committee, and the Board of Governors at Tedesco Country Club.
